Design and Manufacture of Complex Electro-Optics

ZYGO^®’s Electro-Optics Group provides design and manufacturing of advanced electro-optical assemblies and products that are used in the defense, life sciences, industrial, and semiconductor markets. The group’s Tier 1 optical assembly facility, which spreads over 45,000 sq. ft., is situated in Tucson, Arizona. This facility includes class 100 clean room capabilities, Design for Manufacture and Assembly engineering services, and in-line production optical compensation. The optical assembly facility is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485-2003 certified, ITAR registered, and FDA registered, thus making it ideal for manufacturing high-precision systems.

The Electro-Optics Group has a design and prototyping center in Costa Mesa, California which is fully integrated with its Tucson assembly center as well as its Optical Components Group in Middlefield, Connecticut. This center provides a wide range of program management and engineering services which meet the complex needs of defense, life science, industrial, and semiconductor product developments.

Right from concept to prototype, to large-scale production, the Electro-Optics Group can work with customers at all phases of the product development process in order to optimize specific design for performance and cost.
