Delmic's Products

Delmic currently has three main product lines: cathodoluminescence solutions (SPARC Spectral, SPARC Compact, JOLT), cryo solutions that aim to simplify the complex workflows involved in cryo-electron tomography (METEOR), and high-throughput electron microscopy systems (multibeam EM system FAST-EM).

Delmic's Story

Delmic was founded in 2011 by scientists from the Charged Particle Optics group of Delft University of Technology and the NWO-Institute AMOLF in Amsterdam. The initial products were the SECOM, correlative light, and electron microscopy system, developed at TUD, and the SPARC cathodoluminescence system developed at AMOLF.Since then Delmichas been expanding our product lines with cathodoluminescence detection systems and modules (SPARC Compact, JOLT, and LAB Cube) as well as fully integrated fluorescence and scanning electron microscope (DELPHI). In 2020 Delmic further expanded the product line to include a multibeam FAST-EM system, as well as solutions that aim to simplify the complex workflows involved in cryo-ET (METEOR).Currently, Delmic continues to collaborate with its founding institutions in Delft and Amsterdam and works on the development of new products. Their systems are used by researchers and companies all over the world in fields ranging from life sciences, geology, materials science to nanophotonics.
