The DECTRIS SINGLA® detector is a high-speed, hybrid-pixel electron-counting camera designed for Life Sciences applications. With a sensitive area of approximately 1000 × 1000 pixels, it is appropriate for cryo-electron microscopy (cryoEM) and micro-electron diffraction (microED) applications. Experiments like single-particle analysis and cryo-electron tomography benefit substantially from the detector’s speed.
The SINGLA detector's rapid readout speed (more than 2000 frames per second) and wide dynamic range make it excellent for small-molecule and 3D micro-crystallography applications. The bottom-mounted detector works with JEOL and Thermo Fisher Scientific transmission electron microscopes (TEM).
Fast and Accurate: The detector’s direct electron detection at a high frame rate allows optimal data quality at lower energy (100 keV), enabling low-dose electron microscopy.
Compatible: The DECTRIS SINGLA®detector is compatible with the SerialEM software.
