借助硅胶 3D 打印技术，生物相容性且经过认证的硅胶能够以最高的精度和性能进行 3D 打印，无需使用模具，节省成本和时间，且零浪费。
Spectroplast 认为，3D 打印有可能实现从快速成型到个性化产品批量生产的范式转变。到目前为止，只有金属、陶瓷和塑料等刚性材料可用于增材制造。随着全球首款硅胶 3D 打印技术的问世，硅胶等可拉伸材料也可用于 3D 打印。传统上，硅胶部件需要通过注塑或铸造工艺制造，需要模具，数量达数百万。这既耗时又昂贵。Spectroplast 认为，现在是时候彻底改变硅胶生产方式，从大规模生产转向大规模定制了。
