Cutting Mill SM 300 from RETSCH

RETSCH offers the new, advanced Cutting Mill SM 300, which is ideal for grinding a variety of products, like soft, fibrous, elastic, hard, medium-hard, and heterogeneous mixtures. The high torque of the 3 kW drive combined with RES technology helps in reducing the size of heterogeneous mixtures, such as electronic components. Analytical fineness is usually obtained in a single run. With a wide range of collecting vessels, hoppers and bottom sieves, the SM 300 can be customized to meet different application needs.

During the grinding process, the sample is moderately warmed up so that the mill can be safely used for grinding materials, which are sensitive to temperatures. The cutting mill has a selectable speed range from 700 to 3,000 min^-1. In addition, using the cyclone-suction-combination, the mill can be used for grinding light sample materials.
