Crystex Composites

CRYSTEX Composites produces Mykroy/Mycalex, a fully inorganic glass-mica ceramic (-400 F to 1400F) in machinable and moldable grades. The former are easy to machine with standard tooling rendering complex designs achievable. The latter are transfer molded without any POST FIRING; hence they can accommodate METAL INSERTS during molding similar to thermoplastic. Some of Mykroy/Mycalex advantages are that it does not burn or outgas and offers dimensional stability at high temperature.

Its low thermal conductivity and high dielectric strength make it the best thermal and high voltage electrical insulators. Applications: Surgical devices insulator, vacuum components in CVD and plasma chambers, high temperature IC socket and electrical insulators, corona treating insulator, Non-florescent wafer for DNA testing equipment, Plastic and rubber sealing jaws etc…
