It uses novel bulb technology, as well as high durability, high-throughput interference filters to produce more light when compared to the presently available Mini-CrimeScope 400. Ease of Use

The MCS-ADV includes a patented filter wheel at the working end of the liquid light guide. To change a filter, users can simply 'flick a thumb'on the hand that is navigating the light guide. Other manufacturers cannot make this claim.

While other alternate light sources are being used, two features are crucial—that is, wavelength selection and light intensity. The Mini-CrimeScope^® Advance offers excellent light intensity in an easily controllable, round uniform spot, enabling users to optimize the amount of light that falls onto the evidence.
