Established in 1990, Cooper Technology is No.1 British Company and a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance testing equipment for asphaltic and unbound materials.

Our equipment enables users to test materials for mechanical properties such as stiffness modulus, fatigue and permanent deformation - These properties are essential to people involved in the production of roads and the development of materials used in road construction.

The Nottingham Asphalt Tester (NAT), designed in the 1980’s by our Chairman Keith Cooper whilst working at the University of Nottingham, was the first of its type. Since then our product range has increased steadily and now includes Gyratory Compactors and Roller Compactors to prepare and compact specimens in addition to Servo Hydraulic and Servo Pneumatic Universal Testers, Triaxial Testers, Fatigue Systems and Wheel Trackers to perform standards .
