Compact and Economical Visible (340 to 780 nm) Mini-Spectrometer – Hamamatsu RC Series

The Hamamatsu RC series mini-spectrometers are compact polychromators incorporated with a CMOS linear image sensor and a reflection grating. They are available in two different types: C11007MA and C11008MA mini-spectrometer modules with a driver circuit; and C11009MA and C11010MA mini-spectrometer heads to mount into measurement equipment which includes an image sensor and an optical system inside a compact case.

The mini-spectrometer modules include a USB port that is connected to a PC to acquire spectrum data. They are equipped with sample software to fix measurement conditions, display data graphs, and to obtain and save data. These modules also include DLL and evaluation software. In mini-spectrometer heads, incident ray of light is diffused into a spectrum that is photoelectrically transformed into video signals by the image sensor.
