Comex Group delivers technologies for production and separation of fine powders and optical separation of large particles. The company develops innovative, highly advanced solutions for optimization of the production costs that increase profitability of production processes through enhancing the quality of the final product, reducing the energy consumption and achieving more environmentally friendly parameters. Our customers include mines, processing plants, chemical plants, recycling plants as well as higher education institutions.

Since 2003 Comex has delivered over 150 innovative solutions for larger and smaller mining and production companies from several dozen countries. Our sales representatives operate in Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australia. In Europe alone our systems are well-known in over 20 countries.

Sorting Technologies

Comex has developed a new optical sorting system based on a complex image analysis. The system separates materials by recognition of many different properties in the same unit: color, shape, size, surface texture, density, transparency, X-Ray transmission and X-Ray fluorescence, thermal transfer, conductivity, electromagnetic induction. It provides an efficient mineral purification before grinding. The same system can be used for both material sorting and identification or characterization without necessary separation.

Powder Technologies

Comex offers equipment for production and classification of fine particles that incorporate unique world patented air classifiers and jet mills providing powdered materials in size from 300 to 2 microns. These materials are very widely used today for different applications like: fillers, pigments, coatings, medical products etc. In addition to the newly developed equipment, the complete solutions for fine particle production include other necessary elements as: grinding mills, dust collectors, automatic control and monitoring systems.

On-Line Analyzers

Comex offers equipment for on-line particle size analysis which can be used in laboratory scale or on-line in the production process. It includes multi-channel on-line particle size distribution analyzers working in wet and dry modes.
