Over 30 years of innovation Incorporated in 1972, Chiu Technical has been a private label manufacturer of fiberoptic illumination systems to OEMs ranging from Nikon, Olympus and Machida to Reichart and Fujinon. While we have always marketed a certain percentage of our light source production under the Chiu label, we began marketing our full line in the Chiu brand in earnest in 1989. This included our breakthrough adjustable 8-point R-90 ring light (patented 1988) as well as our diminutive but powerful R-90M Munchkin ring light.Today we are proud to say that we have a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility staffed by skilled and talented employees. We are organized into departments including Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, etc.
