CAV® 4.2 | Dual-Bath, Two-Tube, Benchtop Kinematic Viscometer

The CANNON®CAV 4.2is a dual-bath, completely automated, benchtop viscometer with a 28 position (two 14-position carousels) sample handlerfor unattended D445 processing. Each of the two tubes (one per bath) spans a 100-fold viscosity range from 15 °C to 150 °C(with available options) at values ranging from0.5 to 10000 mm²/s (cSt).

*The test temperature and sample type may limit some higher viscosity measurements. Ubbelohde-style tubes (for volatile compounds that are not pure solvents and high melt waxes) are also offered in 100-fold increments and rapid run 10-fold increments from 0.5 to 10,000 mm²/s (cSt).
