CAV® 4.1 | Single-Bath, Two-Tube, Benchtop Kinematic Viscometer

The CANNON® CAV4.1 is a fully-automated, single-bath, benchtop viscometer for unattended ASTM D445 testing for kinematic viscosity (KV) of transparent and opaque liquids.

0.5 to 10000 mm²/second (cSt) viscosity range in 100-fold increments* (covering the range of five individual manual glass viscometers)

Temperature range is 40 to 150 °C (down to 20 °C with optional TE bath)

28 (2 x 14 position) automated sample capacity allows for unattended operation of up to 24 determinations per hour

Easy loading/unloading of samples with removable carousels

Colored display lights in bath offer a quick indication of operational status

    *The test temperature and sample type may limit some upper viscosity measurements. Ubbelohde-style tubes are for offered for high melt waxes and volatile compounds that are not pure solvents in 100-fold increments and fast run 10-fold increments from 0.5 to 10000 mm2/second (cSt).
