On October 1, 2018 SMC Powder Metallurgy Inc. officially became Catalus Corporation. Our new name conveys the catalytic impact we will have on the improvement of existing products and the development of innovative products that meet new market demands.

Catalus is a rapidly growing manufacturer of powdered metal components and is expanding our research and development capabilities at our Galeton, PA location in addition to launching a brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the St. Marys, PA Airport Industrial Park. Our diversified product mix takes us into the automotive, marine, recreational vehicle, lawn and garden, security and other markets. At Catalus we offer strong engineering support to assist with product development and have an on-site Metallurgist and Materials Laboratory to provide assistance with both existing and new products. With presses ranging from 45 to 825 tons, we have the ability to produce a wide range of part sizes from iron based alloys as well as stainless steel, brass and bronze.
