CAL-AV Labs, Inc. (formerly California Avionics Laboratories, Inc.) manufactures electronic instruments and systems for research and industry. We specialize in radio communications and research/electronic test products.

The CAL-AV line of Radio Communication products includes Antennas, Baluns, Mobile Antenna Springs, and Morse Keys. Our Research/Electronic Test product line includes Test Instruments, Explosive Test Site Range Instrumentation, Illuminated Laser Warning Signs and a number of Special Projects to design, develop, and/or fabricate electronics to fill customer needs.

Areas of ExpertiseCAL-AV has special expertise in the areas of timing, pulse-power, and electrically small HF-VHF antennas for airborne, mobile and fixed applications. We also specialize in the manufacture of electronic test equipment in rack CAMAC, VXI, and other formats.

ModificationsIf your user requirements are not met completely with standard production units, CAL-AV can modify its instruments to fulfill a customer's diverse specifications. We can usually accomplish this at a relatively low cost, even for single units.
