Birchcliff Energy Ltd. is an intermediate oil and gas exploration, development and production company based in Calgary, Alberta.

Birchcliff's production in January of 2009 was approximately 12,700 boe/day, comprised of 70% natural gas and the balance light oil and natural gas liquids. Birchcliff has two large resource plays and significant exploration opportunities all of which are located in the Peace River Arch area of Alberta. Birchcliff operates approximately 84% of its production and has significant undeveloped land - 396,451 gross acres (348,249 net) acres in close proximity to its production.
