Bia Analytical is a leading UK food authentication-testing laboratory that started out as a Queen’s University spin out company. Our aim is to become the industry-recognized test for authenticity of food ingredients ensuring food integrity across global supply chains.

We have developed industry-leading, cutting-edge food adulteration testing methods that can help protect the entire food supply chain against food fraud and offer reassurance that food products have been tested with the best food fraud detection methods possible. Our facilities are housed within the Institute for Global Food Security in the School of Biological Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast, a member of the Russell Group which represents the 24 leading UK research universities.
