The Bettersizer S3 Plus from Bettersize Instruments combines dynamic image analysis and laser diffraction in a single instrument.
This instrument is designed to measure the size and shape of particles ranging from 0.01 μm to 3500 μm. Its excellent sensitivity makes it ideally suited to the measurement of ultrafine particles or oversized particles, while its unsurpassed resolution makes the Bettersizer S3 Plus the most powerful size and shape analyzer available at its price point.

Features and Benefits
The system features two powerful systems with wide measuring ranges: 0.01 - 3500 μm (laser system) and 2 - 3500 μm (image system).
Size and shape results can be acquired simultaneously thanks to the presence of laser diffraction and dynamic image analysis capabilities in one instrument.
The patented DLOI (Dual Lenses & Oblique Incidence) system can accommodate ultrafine particle measurements down to 0.01 μm.
Powerful dual-camera imaging technology is able to show particle images in real-time, allowing the detection of oversized particles up to 3500 μm.
Refractive index measurement can be used to determine the refractive index of unknown samples, improving result reliability.
Full compliance with guidelines is assured, including 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13320, USP <429>, and CE.
