Bartington Instruments is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high precision fluxgate magnetometers and magnetic susceptibility instruments. The Company sells a range of single and three-axis fluxgate magnetometers into the physics and defence markets. Its magnetometers are used for site surveys prior to the installation of Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and for active shielding of magnetically sensitive instrumentation. Applications in defence include magnetic signature control and surveillance.
