BAC Aerospace specializes in the development, testing, and regulatory approval of electric and hybrid-electric aircraft propulsion systems, supporting both start-up and established aircraft manufacturers for fixed-wing and eVtol applications. We are a Design Approval Representative (DAR) for Transport Canada Civil Aviation with the delegated scope of authority in the discipline of powerplant, engines, and environmental emission regulatory standards. In addition, we provide technical consulting services in the field of engine-airframe integration.BAC Aerospace is the founding member of the Canadian Greener Aircraft Certification Initiative (CGACI), aiming to connect start-up electric aircraft propulsion companies with the technical expertise and investment connections vital to successful certification and entry into service of their products.
