Avo Photonics, Inc. is a service corporation that designs, develops, and manufactures private-label opto-electronic products and solutions for the medical, industrial, military, aerospace, and communications markets. Through its unique pure service model, Avo provides custom design and contract manufacturing while ensuring full confidentiality.

Avo’s personnel and equipment are an extension of its customers' business, providing transparent services at the volumes needed to advance from design to market dominance.

Located in Horsham, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, Avo's headquarters is comprised of a 41,000 square foot manufacturing facility that features 22,000 square feet of clean room space. All production is ISO 9001:2015 and 13485:2016 certified to ensure consistent manufacturing. Additional design verification is performed at Avo's campus in Toronto, Ontario.

Avo is part of Halma’s photonics division, along with Fiberguide, Labsphere, Ocean Optics, and Fluxdata. Halma makes products for hazard detection and life protection and is a market leader in specialist electronic, safety and environmental technologies.
