Avian Technologies

Since 1999, Avian Technologies has been active in the development of standards for the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and optical industries. We supply a wide range of standards, all traceable to NIST and NRC, for transmittance and reflectance, from the UV to the mid-IR. We are also involved in an active program for development of a new line of color standards for the color and appearance market.

Our diffuse reflectance materials and coatings are used widely throughout the world in a wide variety of industries. We are one of the few (if not the only) concern doing active research in the development of custom diffuse reflectance coatings, where our customer base includes Boeing, General Dynamics, and Australian Aerospace.
