XRDynamic 500's TruBeam™ concept features an evacuated beam path, a large goniometer radiusand completely automated X-ray optics/beam geometry changes. Users can measure a wide range of samples with different instrument configurations and intuitive software that includes optimized workflows.

With a standard Bragg-Brentano configuration, users can achieve superior resolution (FWHM *0.021° for 1st LaB6 standard peak). The signal-to-noise ratio is enhanced with up to 50% less with minimal parasitic air scattering and background noise. The flexibility of a dedicated instrument for SAXS measurements enables users to reconfigure the instrument quickly for non-ambient XRD experiments.

Solution

Users can switch between up to three beam geometries just by clicking a single button (available for any kind of X-ray tube that is used), as a result of a motorized optics stack. A special source tilt axis enables each geometry to be accurately and automatically aligned.
