Attolight, a Swiss company that originated in the EPFL Laboratory of Quantum Optoelectronics (LOEQ), has revolutionized micro-cathodoluminescence (CL). Capitalizing on core expertise in the science of CL, advanced data analysis, instrument design and Swiss-quality production, they have built a line of next-generation full integrated CL-SEMs and CL-STEMs that image large fields of view, faster, and with expert options such as time-resolved spectroscopy, cryo staging, and electrical measurement.

Attolight’s new quantitative cathodoluminescence is targeted to set standards for in-line inspection in the semiconductor industry as well as in nanotechnology, geology, advanced materials and the life sciences/medicine.
