ATi Analytical Technology

The ATi UK team are based in England and act as the European headquarters, with offices also in the US, allowing the company to deliver solutions across the globe. From the US we design, manufacture and distribute analytical instrumentation, based on electrochemical and optical sensors.

Analytical Technology was founded in Pennsylvania in the early 1990’s by two of North America’s leading experts in water quality monitoring and gas detection. This, still privately owned, company is deeply rooted in the principle of developing and manufacturing sensors that will protect lives, improve process control or protect the environment. A guiding belief is that theses monitor should be simple to operate and inexpensive to own and operate.

From an initial product range of a few key sensors ATI has grown through two factory relocations and a tenfold increase in employee numbers to be one of the leading manufacturers of electrochemical sensor based monitors in the world. Our customers include many globally recognised brands in all industry sectors from petrochemical to food and drink as well as many of the world’s biggest utility companies.

In 1998 the boundaries were further expanded with the opening of a European sales, marketing and support headquarters by Michael Strahand and Garry Tabor. 19 years later the European HQ is now based in purpose built offices just outside Manchester. The European customer base includes almost all of the UK’s major water companies; United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Thames Water, and Severn Trent Water all trust ATi to deliver solutions to their monitoring problem and to back them up when help is needed.
