Athena is a Western Australian based exploration company incorporated in April 2005 with the objective of acquiring mineral projects with the potential to be developed into profitable mining operations.

The Company is targeting nickel sulphide and gold mineralisation within Proterozoic mobile belts that contain lucrative mineral deposits on the margins of the Yilgarn and Pilbara cratons. It has applied for and holds tenements in its own right as well as through the proposed acquisition of Capricorn Resources Pty Ltd. Copper, lead, zinc, silver and uranium deposits are attractive alternative exploration targets that are also likely to occur in these areas.
