The ARL QUANT’X Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer allows users to quickly and easily collect composition data from practically any type of material. In a variety of materials — including bulk solids, granules, weak or crushed powders, thin films, pastes, fused beads, and liquids — it measures major, minor, and trace elements.
This extensive benchtop EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence) system satisfies the elemental analysis needs of primary and contract laboratories, educational institutions, environmental sensing and chemicals, mining, forensics, food, cement, and metals industries. It also has standardless software and accessories.

For elemental analysis, the ARL QUANT’X EDXRF spectrometer offers the greatest degree of performance, adaptability, and dependability. Unrivaled analytical precision over a wide bandwidth from ppm to percent elemental concentrations is made possible by the device’s compact size, close-coupled optics, and advanced electrically cooled detectors.
The ARL QUANT’X EDXRF is now even more potent. The QUANT’X, which has the most recent generation of high-efficiency SDD detectors, can withstand higher counts with outstanding resolutions and offers improved performance for both light and heavy components.
The ARL QUANT’X increases precision and identification thresholds across the periodic table by a factor of two. Optionally, a four-fold reduction in the average counting time can significantly boost sample throughput.
The SDD500G detector improves the functionality of the ARL QUANT’X spectrometer and integrates the most recent developments in detecting technology. With the SDD500G, the analytical range is extended down to carbon while sensitivity for light elements like fluorine is improved.
