The ARL QUANT’X EDXRF spectrometer provides the highest level of performance, versatility, and reliability for elemental analysis. Its small footprint, close-coupled optics, and sophisticated electrically cooled detectors enable unrivaled analytical precision over a broad bandwidth from ppm to percent elemental concentrations.
The ARL QUANT’X EDXRF has become all the more powerful.The QUANT’X, which is equipped with the latest generation of high-efficiency SDD detectors, can handle high-count rates at excellent resolutions and delivers better performance from light to heavy elements.
The ARL QUANT’X improves accuracy and recognition limits by a factor of two across the periodic table. Optionally, the average counting time can be decreased by a factor of four, dramatically increasing sample throughput.
The SDD500G detector adds the most recent advancements in detection technology as well as boosts the performance of the ARL QUANT’X spectrometer. The SDD500G improves sensitivity for light elements like fluorine and extends its analytical scope down to carbon.

The optional UniQuant program collects all emission lines of all possible elements from fluorine to americium, heading beyond any other FP analysis (carbon to americium with SDD500G option). UniQuant can instantaneously rectify all possible overlap and background implications, which are particularly complex in energy-dispersive spectra, thanks to the sample’s comprehensive spectral profile.
