Analyze Gases, Vapors and VOCs in Liquids with the HPR-40 DSA (MIMS)

The Hiden HPR-40 DSA Membrane Inlet Mass Spectrometer (MIMS) is used for real-time monitoring and quantitative analysis of evolved/dissolved gases.

The compact bench-top gas analysis system is offered with a wide variety of 'DEMS' cells for differential electrochemistry mass spectrometry. DEMS cells comprise of a nano porous membrane interface, allowing rapid response, real-time, in-situ analysis of gaseous and volatile electrochemical reactants, products, and reaction intermediates.

The system allows analysis down to sub-ppb levels

A wide range of applications can be addressed, thanks to the presence of both circular membrane carrier inlets and dissolved species probe inlets

A special membrane is used by the inlet probe that permits small levels of the dissolved species to traverse through it into the ion source of a high precision quadrupole mass spectrometer

A solenoid safety valve protects the vacuum system and mass spectrometer during failure of a membrane

A manual isolation valve provides control over the sampling
