Amuneal has spent over 15 years working with public utilities, building managers, and facility engineers to provide cost-effective workplace EMF protection. As the public has continued to learn more about electromagnetic fields (EMF), the debate over possible health effects from powerline frequency magnetic fields has also continued. This knowledge, combined with growing space utilization needs, has created the need for cost-effective on-site consulting and area shielding solutions. Amuneal has also served as EMF management consultant to several major electrical utilities, and participated in a series of multi-year collaborative research projects to shield utility-owned facilities. These included generating station work areas, capacitor bank and sub-station distribution facilities, network protector vaults and residential distribution lines.
