AMCO Enclosures is an IMS Engineered Products brand located in approximately 290,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Des Plaines, Illinois. Electronic packaging, server rack, network rack and containment manufacturing are our core competencies.

In September 2005, IMS Companies, LLC acquired AMCO Engineering and consolidated them with Exton Corp., which is a custom sheet metal fabricator. This enhanced AMCO’s ability to customize racks and enclosures.

With over 80 years of experience, AMCO Enclosures is a recognized leader in the design, manufacture and integration of standard or custom electronic racks and cabinets for all segments of industry. Its initial role in the market place was as a supplier to the US Military for various projects and programs. The requirements and attention to detail needed for these programs created a standard line of enclosures that still sets the industry standard to this date. Our many standard rack product lines provide solutions for nearly any enclosure requirement. With millions of configurations available as well as standard, AMCO still recognizes the demand for customization and can manufacture custom racks to meet your specific requirements.
