All-Inclusive Handheld Raman - TacticID®-1064

The TacticID^®-1064 from B&W Tek is a field-ready handheld spectral analysis instrument. The analyzer has been engineered for non-contact forensic analysis by safety personnel and first responders, including customs and border patrol, law enforcement personnel, hazmat technicians, bomb squads, etc.

The TacticID^®-1064 makes use of well-established Raman spectroscopy, thereby enabling users to achieve real-time actionable identification of unknown narcotics, chemicals, pharmaceutical drugs, explosivesand several other substances. This, in turn, minimizes the response time and operational uncertainty.

The TacticID^®-1064 is provided with a detailed library of more than 10,000 substances. Furthermore, users can flexibly develop their own libraries. The analyzer makes use of the 1064 nm wavelength, thus eliminating fluorescence and enabling users to obtain results within 1 minute even when they work with difficult street samples.
