Advanced VideoMVP™ Single Reflection ATR Microsampler

The VideoMVP^™ seamlessly integrates the functionality of a diamond ATR accessory with advanced video imaging and optional force sensing capabilities.

With its easy-to-use horizontal sampling feature—an active sampling area on its monolithic diamond that measures less than 500 µm in diameter—the VideoMVP^™ is ideal for infrared spectroscopy measurements of extremely abrasive materials such as beads, fibers, hard samples, powders, and even corrosive materials.

The video imaging device uses the ATR crystal to provide a real-time magnified view of the sample. Users can see this image on the integrated display or save it digitally for future reference.

Solid samples are packed together against the ATR crystal with the integrated pressure applicator.

A slip clutch is installed on the pressure applicator to prevent over-pressurization. If necessary, a force sensor with a digital read-out is included to measure the force applied to the sample accurately and to consistently provide less force than what the built-in slip clutch can supply.
