Advanced Metallurgical Services (AMS Testing) Ltd is a family-owned business and was founded in 1990. With more than30 years of experience, our distinct purpose is to provide the highest quality materials testing services in the industry.
When the lab was founded its main purpose was to serve a steel stockholding company, however, over the years thatdeveloped to a stand-alone laboratory that serves a wide variety of industries. Most recently, in February 2020, AMSreached a big milestone and moved to new facilities which were coupled with a big investment to upgrade all theequipment.
AMS has evolved from initially providing its services to a single steel stockholder, to a leading materials testing lab.
Today, AMS prides itself on an extensive schedule of UKAS accredited tests and offers a large range of testing services tomany industry sectors. AMS is proud of its comprehensive product knowledge and the staff’s ability to provide technicalsupport to all its customers. AMS has successfully developed a unique position within the laboratory testing scene providingimmediate friendly, personal, and professional advice from extensive experience in many sectors.
