A High Resolution System for Optical Coherence Tomography - SuperK EXTREME OCT Laser

High-resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT) offers comprehensive data on refractive index variations and scattering for partly transmitting materials, on a micrometer scale.

The high-resolution OCT system features a NKT Photonics broadband SuperK EXTREME OCT laser, and the Thorlabs Ganymede OCT engine. It provides an ultra high axial resolution of 1.2 µm in tissue. The system is versatile, and it allows users to optimize the scanning speed, scanning area, and data processing to the specific sample under analysis. The system is a flexible tool for various applications, ranging from non-destructive testing of industrial materials, to tomography of small animals.
