The 72DL PLUS ultrasonic thickness gauge (72DLP™ gauge) is a user-friendly instrument that provides accurate and high-speed precision thickness measurements. With a low minimum thickness capability, quick scanning, and sophisticated algorithms, users can confidently measure the thickness of ultra-thin layers and other challenging materials in manufacturing.
The 72DLP thickness gauge comes in two models—standard frequency and high frequency—to suit various precision thickness applications. The high-frequency model can measure ultra-thin materials, such as multilayer paint, plastics, metals, and coatings.
With the Multilayer Measurement feature, the gauge can display the thickness of up to six separate layers simultaneously. Every 72DLP model has the capabilities to measure thickness quickly and accurately:
